Welcome to Lipz Apart - the newest home on the internet for women to share their voices, perspectives and experience to stimulate thought, laughter, discussion, and community.
I am Tina, and giving people a place to share their thoughts openly has been a desire of mine for years. I was inspired by the Riot Grrrl movement of the 90's, and although I was just a couple years too young to really participate fully I am old enough to remember the passion and the energy that drove a generation of women to stand up and claim their place and their right to be an active part of this culture. I still have my Doc Martens and I still have my desire to make a difference. Most important, I still have my dream of starting a massive conversation between women of all ages, beliefs, and ideals in hopes of us all learning from each other and moving into our future as a stronger force for change.
"Women" isn't a single community - we represent as wide a rainbow of ideas as humanity allows. This isn't a place for one person or one concept to own. It is open to all opinions, all ideas, all voices...Lipz Apart is a place to express and explore the female condition, in whatever way we choose.
